Quick tips to Attack the New School Year!

Most of the schools have recently started their new 2012-13 session. And I am sure you must be crazy buying the right books, covering the notebooks,  getting the right study gears, waking up early, pushing your sweetheart to sleep on time, etc. and the list goes on. I understand the pain what parents and kids go through; therefore I have lined few tips to tackle the school schedule.

  • Buy school bags for kids that are spacious and light in weight. Kids have the tendency to over stuff their school bags with unwanted articles like a drawing book to kill the boring class, newly bought colors, heavy pencil box (just to show-off to friends), etc. Keep an eye on your child’s bag and see what they are taking to school. Such a close check by you would help your kid to take the required weight and get rid of the extra pounds they usually to carry on their tender shoulders!

  • The back-to-school shopping of stationery, lunch box and water bottles should be done carefully. Buy pencils that are easily sharpened and sharpener that is easy for shaping the pencil’s nib. If your little ones take lunch to school, then makes sure you get them something that keeps their lunch tasty and warm. Don’t forget to put cutlery and napkins, to maintain the homely presentation. For water bottles make sure they are leak proof and easy to drink water.

  • Make sure you do your work in time like getting their uniform ready, covering their books and notebooks, payment of fees, etc.

  • Stick their day-to-day school time-table on the pin board of their study-table, so that it becomes easy for them to put the correct books in their school bags for children.

  • Ask them about what happened at the school daily. It helps you to be updated about what’s happening in his school and how’s he performing. Check his school diary kept in his school bag to know if there is any remark or note written by the teacher, to be followed by your kid.

Follow these steps to make sure your schedule is in sync with your child’s routine. And make sure you buy bags for kids which are having cushioned straps and are light in weight.
